About our Services

ABA Connections is proud to offer a variety of services based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Upon completion of an initial assessment, our Board Certified Behaviour Analyst will provide a recommendation with regards to services that would be beneficial. These services may include:

Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and Intensive Behavioral Intervention (IBI) Therapy is designed to develop basic skills and enhance learning and socially significant behaviors. Through the experience and knowledge of a Senior Therapist (ST), therapy is designed based on the strengths and weaknesses of the client as determined by the Verbal Behaviour Milestone Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) and the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills – Revised (ABLLS-R).

Programs are highly supervised, detailed and comprehensive and are implemented in an effective and procedural manner. Assessments, program development, data analysis, and written progress reports are provided on an ongoing basis. Methods of instruction include both Intensive Trial Teaching (ITT) and Natural Environment Teaching (NET). Targeted skills are taught at the table in ITT and are generalized and maintained in NET. A ratio of ITT and NET will be established based on the profile of the client.

Consultations on behavioral interventions, problem behaviors, or the overseeing of therapy is conducted through initial evaluations and assessments, development of programming, analyzing of data, creation of behavioral protocols, conduction of functional analyses, supervision of ABA Therapists, training, and written progress reports. Regular occurring meetings with families and ABA Therapists are scheduled to oversee programming and development, discuss programs, monitor progress and review goals.

ABA Connections offers program creation and implementation for individuals in need of specific skill development or training. Using the principles and techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis, targeted skill areas are assessed, and programs are designed based on the strengths and unique learning patterns of the individual.
