Friendship Training (Nepean)

This program is designed to help your child understand and develop important social skills. It combines theoretical and practical ABA based learning.

Socially Distant (Virtual)

Teen’s Virtual Hangout

This program is designed to help teens feel socially connected while being physically distant.

Covering topics including:

Social media and gaming

Healthy Habits

Movement and activity

Children’s Social Group (Carleton Place)

 

Do you have a child who struggles to interact appropriately with their peers?

ABA Connections is offering a 12 week children’s social group for children aged 6-12. This program is designed to teach your child appropriate social skills, mindfulness techniques, and skills to help them cope with anxiety. This ABA based group is facilitated by trained ABA therapists and volunteers with the goal of teaching your child ways to make meaningful social connections.

Children’s Social Group (Virtual)

This virtual program was designed to allow children to socially connect while they physically distance.

Covering topics including:

Mindfulness

Coping with anxiety

Mindfulness (Nepean)

Do you have a child who struggles with self-awareness or has difficulty paying attention?

ABA Connections is offering a 12 week Mindfulness Group to support the development of mental health and improve focus. This program is designed to teach mindfulness strategies that enhance body-mind awareness and facilitate more meaningful relationships with others.

 This skill-based program is facilitated by ABA-trained therapists and volunteers and includes both theoretical and practical learning activities.

Zones of Regulation (Nepean)

A curriculum designed to foster self-regulation and emotional control.

Teen Life & Social Skills Group (Carleton Place)

Do you have a teen who could benefit from developing greater independence in their day-to-day life? 

Our 12-week Life Skills group for teens between 12-17 years of age is geared towards teaching important life skills needed to increase independence in daily routines. 

Each session is facilitated by ABA-trained therapists and volunteers with topics including cooking, navigating the community, self-care and more!

Teen Life & Social Skills Group (Nepean)

Do you have a teen that could benefit from developing greater independence in their day to day life?

ABA Connections is offering a 12 week life and social skills group for youth aged 10-17 years who could benefit from learning important life and social skills that will promote better independence and help them to navigate social situations!
